The Oracle Community Center Board would like to announce the quickly approaching ‘Oaks Festival’ at the OCC on April 26th from 9 am till 2 pm. There will be food, music, games, vendors, an ATV show and a parade that starts it all off.

At 9 am all those who want to participate in the parade will meet at St Helens church and proceed down American Ave till reaching the Post Office. If you have never been in a parade before, here’s your big chance. Nothing is required except to drive cautiously, wave and smile out your car windows. You are free to Decorate your car or truck and also Feel free to throw candy (unmeltable) out your window to the people watching the parade. It’s not a big or lengthy parade but Oracle is not so big either. It fits us and it’s fun.

This year's Grand Marshall’s are Mark and Jacque Phelps who use to own Oracle Ford (now Oro Ford) and have always been great contributor to the Oaks Festival and to Oracle in general - Wonderful and generous folks! Please give them an ovation they deserve as they pass by.

After the parade you can park down below (with the exception of handicap parking up in front of the OCC) and please use the gentle graded walking path up to the top avoiding the steep driveway and cars. The path will be marked Once up to the festival grounds there will be lots of vendors selling their crafts and foods with Oracle related interests.

Inside will be a cool place to sit, eat lunch and socialize. There will be a booth inside where you can be coached to make beautiful bracelets to keep. Outside the foods will be served. There will be a pulled pork plate with slaw and beans Hamburgers, hot dogs, Green chile burros and regular bean burros as well Also available is lemonade, water, Kettle corn and Dirty Sno will be sold by food trucks down below. And there will be tables both in and outside to sit down and eat, listen to the music and people watch.

There will games for kids of all ages like a corn hole competition that has wonderful stuffed animals to win. We have accumulated over 50 prizes that most kids can walk away with. Only the winner (of two playing) gets a prize, but the losers can get back in line to try again and again only one prize per person can win though. The corn hole competition starts at 11 so get in line early to have the best choices of prizes (if you win) There will also be a spinning wheel with prizes. A ring toss and Go Fish games will have prizes too.

Entertaining everyone outside will be 2 two-hour performances on the outdoor stage. Andy Waddell starts it all going at 10am till noon singing songs from 1955 to 1995. Andy will encourage dancing too. The second is an Oracle favorite in David Argentati playing his guitar, other instruments and singing those great 70’s songs. David goes from noon till 2.

The 2025 Oaks Festival is part of many years of Oracle Folks getting together to share stories and laughs. The bond of the Love we all share about our precious town is what the festival is all about. So be a part of it all and let’s hope we have nice weather which we usually do. Free admission and tickets sold for food and games

Support of your community center is a special thing to do, and the rewards are too many to list. Be a visible part of your community!
